You are not doing it right if you are skipping your leg exercises. Working your legs is essential because your overall strength and power originate mainly from the lower body.
Sure, leg day means sore calves, thighs, and buttocks the next day. But if you want to see massive gains in your lower body, you simply can’t push leg exercises out of the equation.
If you find yourself pumped up for leg routines, you need to do it right though. And by that, you need to go heavy or just don’t go at all.
