This Bodybuilding Coach Sets Things Straight About Repetition And Volume
There are a number of questions that revolve around bodyweight exercises and whether or not they actually build muscles.
To pitch in his thoughts on the matter, bodybuilding coach Lee Hayward says it’s not about doing heavy exercises and insane bodyweight training, but states that any bodyweight exercise can build more muscle if done in a progressive approach.
“All that really matters is that you are training with a progressive overload,” declares Hayward. “That you are asking your muscles to perform a greater volume of work than they could before.”
